Do your own packing
Packing yourself will allow you the time to sell, donate or trash a lot of items you would prefer not to relocate as well as saving money on expensive packing material and labor. All loose items need to be in boxes or containers with lids, properly wrap all glass, mirror, and fragile items with bubble wrap, blankets, or foam. Hint: most electronic stores will give you empty T.V. boxes that they would normally discard that you can use for electronics, artwork, etc.
Book Early
Booking a move is similar to purchasing an airline ticket. Booking in advance will secure your dates and will allow room for special add-ons like custom discounts, lower rates, etc.
